My Story
Hi! My name is Angeliki Mitsianis but everyone calls me Angie. I'm a first-generation Greek American. I received both my bachelor's and master's degrees at St. John's University in Queens, NY. I enjoy helping children build their communication skills and have experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. My significant other and three sweet girls moved to SC a few years ago and we love it! I enjoy laughing, listening to a variety of music, drawing, getting crafty with my Cricut machine, and spending time with my family/loved ones.

1. What is your favorite part about your career?
Seeing progress in students, specifically the limited/non-verbal communicators.
2. What motivates you to work hard?
My children motivate me to work hard.
3. What is your biggest complaint about your profession?
The paperwork!

Move into my forever home.

Slurping food and people not saying “thank you” when holding the door open for them.
6. What are your hobbies?
Crafting on my Cricut and making balloon garlands.

Barbies.

Iced latte.

Apple pie with vanilla ice cream.

Spending time with my girls on the beaches of Greece.
